Night Nurse Capsules are for the symptomatic relief of chills, colds and flu. By relieving symptoms such as headache, sore throat, dry tickly cough, runny nose, shivers, aches and pains, Night Nurse is especially helpful in enabling restful sleep to feel better on waking.
Always read the product information before use. For adults and children aged 12 years and over, take two capsules just before bedtime with a drink of water. Do not take Night Nurse Capsules if you have already taken four doses of a Paracetamol-containing product during the day. Not to be given to children under 12 years old except on medical advice.
Opaque green and white capsule, printed Night Nurse on both halves, containing Paracetamol 500mg, Promethazine Hydrochloride 10mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 7.5mg.
Paracetamol is usually well tolerated however skin rashes and other allergic reactions occur occasionally with paracetamol. Side effects are not common with Dextromethorphan and when they occur are usually mild. Occasionally dizziness, upset stomach, nausea or vomiting may occur. Promethazine may cause drowsiness or difficulty in concentrating. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Do not take with alcoholic drink. If you get any of these or any other unusual effects, stop taking the medicine and tell your doctor or pharmacist at once.
Do not exceed the stated dose. May cause drowsiness. Do not take with any other medication at night except under medical supervision. Not recommended for children under 12 years.
