Migraitan 50mg Tablets 2 is used to treat migraine. These tablets contain the ingredient Sumatriptan which belongs to a group of medicines called Triptans. Migraine symptoms may be caused by the temporary swelling of blood vessels in the head due to temporary imbalance in the bodys chemicals. Migraitan 50mg Tablets 2 work on this imbalance and reduce the swelling of these blood vessels. The tablets help to take away headache and other symptoms of a migraine attack such as feeling sick (nausea) and sensitivity to light and sound.
Swallow one tablet whole with water as soon as possible at the first signs of a migraine headache. If your symptoms start to come back, you can take the second tablet after two hours.
Each film coated tablet contains 50mg of the active ingredient Sumatriptan.
Do not take more than two tablets in 24 hours and do not take more then two tablets for the same attack. Do not take a second tablet if the first tablet does not provide any relief.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Not to be taken by children under 18 or adults over 65.
