Canesten Soft Gel Pessary Combi Clotrimazole 500mg is a dual action treatment for vaginal thrush. It combines a unique comfortable soft gel pessary to treat the internal infection and a tube of 2% thrush cream to soothe the external symptoms.
Always read the product information before use. Suitable for adults aged 16 to 60 years. Wash hands before and after insertion. Using the applicator insert the Canesten 500mg soft gel pessary into the vagina preferably at night. Gently apply the Canesten cream thinly to the vulva and affected area two to three times daily.
The soft gel pessary is a soft vaginal capsule containing Clotrimazole 500mg. It also contains White Soft Paraffin, Liquid Paraffin, Gelatin, Glycerol, Water, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Quinoline Yellow (E104), Sunset Yellow (E110), Lecithin, Medium-chain Triglycerides. The 10g tube of external cream contains Clotrimazole 200mg (2%w/w). It also contains Benzyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetyl Palmitate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Purified Water. For further information see the enclosed leaflet.
