Acne Rosacea is a very common skin disorder that mainly affects adults as they get into their early thirties. It is commonly seen on or around the nose, cheeks chin and forehead. Starting as a reddening of the skin (similar to blushing) with small blood vessels becoming dilated and more visible, similar to spider veins. Typically, this is followed by the appearance of little bumps and pimples, with inflammation sometimes spreading to the eyes which may become sore. Acne rosacea treatment is limited but creams can help to reduce the redness and form a protective barrier to help prevent flare-ups.
