Treatment of nicotine dependence,and for the relief of withdrawal symptoms associated with smoking cessation. For smokers able to stop abruptly, and also those wanting to cut down their cigarette use before stopping completely.
12 yrs and over: Use whenever the urge to smoke is felt, up to a maximum of 12 cartridges per day. See pack leaflet for further doseage information. To use, a cartridge is inserted into the inhalor and air is drawn into the mouth through the mouthpiece. Deep drawing or short sucking can be used, as required by the individual. After about 20 minutes of intense use the cartridge will need replacement.
Inhalation cartridge for oro-mucosal use containing: Nicotine 10mg.
Nausea, vomiting or indigestion are possible as are dizziness, headache, decreased saliva and influenza like symptoms. Less frequently palpitations can occur.
Under 12 years: not to be used. Should not be used by anyone with severe cardiovascular disease or in pregnancy or lactation. NOTE: Nicotine products should not be used concurrently with other nicotine containing products, including cigarettes. Users should always refer to the Patient Information leaflet.
