Nurofen Back Pain SR Capsules

Nurofen Back Pain SR Capsules are specially designed to target back pain. The sustained release formulation means that they effectively relieve pain and reduce inflammation for up to 8 hours. Effective Relief from back pain, muscular pain, rheumatic pain.

Adults and Children 12 years and older: Swallow 2 capsules with water, then if necessary take 1 or 2 capsules after at least 8 hours. Do not exceed 4 capsules in 24 hours. Not suitable for children under 12 years.

Each capsule contains: Ibuprofen Ph. Eur 300mg Sustained Release

Nurofen Back Pain SR Capsules are generally well tolerated by the majority of people, however, elderly patients are at increased risk of developing problems associated with side effects. Disorders of the stomach and intestines including abdominal discomfort or pain, nausea, stomach ulcer, vomiting containing either blood or brown grit (like coffee grounds), black tarry stools, worsening of existing bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease) Blood disorders resulting in unexplained or unusual bruising or bleeding, fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, extreme pallor or weakness. Allergic reactions including worsening of asthma, unexplained wheezing or shortness of breath, swelling of the face and tongue, collapse. In addition, there may be skin reaction (including hives and itching): these can sometimes be severe with blistering and peeling of skin.If you develop any of the symptoms above, stop the capsules and contact your doctor immediately.

Do not take if you: have or have ever had stomach ulcer, or perforation or bleeding of the stomach, are allergic to any of the ingredients or to aspirin or to any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), are taking other NSAID pain killers, or aspirin with a daily dose above 75 mg, are in the last 3 months of pregnancy, are under 12 years old. Consult your doctor, before taking the capsules, if you are asthmatic, have stomach or bowel disorders, have kidney, heart or liver problems or are in first 6 months of pregnancy
