5 drops to be instilled with the head inclined, preferably when lying down. This may cause a harmless tingling sensation. Should the Cerumol tend to run out when the head is held up a small plug of cotton wool moistened with Cerumol or smeared with petroleum jelly may be applied. Repeat as above twice a day for u to 3 days. Unless the ear wax is unusually hard it should run out of its own accord. If not consult your doctor for possible syringing.
Active constituents per 100ml: Paradichlorobenzene 2gm, Chlorobutanol BP 5gm, Arachis Oil (Peanut oil) BP 57gm.
Cerumol contains Arachis Oil (Peanut oil). If you are allergic to peanut oil or soya, do not use. The ear is a delicate organ. You are advised to consult your doctor in all cases of ear disorder before using any ear drops. Use within 6 months of opening.
