Imodium Capsules
Imodium capsules quickly and effectively stop diarrhoea in one dose.
Imodium Capsules can stop diarrhoea with one dose, quickly and effectively. Imodium can be used to treat episodes of diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) after your doctor has diagnosed you are suffering from this condition.
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 2 Imodium capsules initially, followed, if required by one capsule after each loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 8 per day. Imodium is not recommended for children under 12 years.
Each Imodium capsule contains Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg
Side effects with Imodium are rare but should you experience any side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist.
While symptoms persist, fluid and electrolyte replacement is necesssary, particularly in the frail and elderly. Initial diagnosis by doctor required for use in IBS.
If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, consult your doctor.
