Day + Night Nurse Capsules

Combined pack of 18 Day Nurse & 6 Night Nurse capsules for complete 24 hour colds & flu remedy.

For the symptomatic relief of colds and flu, including shivers, aches and pains, blocked or runny nose and tickly cough both during the day and at night.

Adults and children over 12 years: DAYTIME DOSAGE:2 yellow/orange capsules, to be taken with a drink, every 4 hours up to a maximum of 3 doses throughout the day if needed. NIGHTIME DOSAGE: 2 green/white capsules to be taken with a drink at bedtime.

Day Nurse: Paracetamol 500mg, Phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride 12.5mg, Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg. Night Nurse: Paracetamol 500mg, Promethazine hydrochloride 10mg, Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg.

Paracetamol is usually well tolerated however skin rashes and other allergic reactions occur occasionally with paracetamol. Side effects are not common with Dextromethorphan and when they occur are usually mild. Occasionally dizziness, upset stomach, nausea or vomiting may occur. Promethazine may cause drowsiness or difficulty in concentrating. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Do not take with alcoholic drink. If you get any of these or any other unusual effects, stop taking the medicine and tell your doctor or pharmacist at once.

Do not exceed the stated dose. May cause drowsiness. Do not take with any other medication at night except under medical supervision. Do not give to children under 12 years old.
